Privacy Policy for Rememberly
Rememberly ("the app") is published by AVORA SIA ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.
The short version
Rememberly has no user accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you save — your memories, checklists, photos, and settings — is stored only on your own device. We cannot see it, because it is never sent to us.
The app does not request the Android INTERNET permission,
so it is not technically capable of transmitting your data anywhere on its
own. There are two exceptions where information can leave your device, both
described below: voice input, and your own device
backup.
What the app stores on your device
Everything below is written to private app storage on your phone. Other apps cannot read it.
- Memories — the text you type or dictate, and anything the app derives from it: titles, notes, item names, place descriptions, people's names, amounts, dates, and reminder times.
- Checklists — the lists you create and which items you have ticked off.
- Photos — any photo you attach to a memory. Photos taken with the camera, and photos you pick from your gallery, are copied into the app's private storage so they stay available.
- Settings — your theme choice, whether reminders are enabled, and whether you have completed the introduction.
What we collect
Nothing. We operate no servers and no accounts, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting libraries. We do not receive your memories, photos, usage data, or any identifier, and we have no way to access your device's contents.
Permissions and why the app asks for them

The app does not request internet access, location, contacts, microphone, or access to your wider photo library. Choosing a photo uses the Android picker, which hands the app only the single image you select.
Voice input
If you use the microphone button to dictate a memory, the app asks Android to open whichever speech recognition app is installed on your device — usually Google's. Rememberly does not record or store audio, and does not hold the microphone permission. The recording and the conversion to text are performed by that other app, under its privacy policy, and depending on your device and settings it may send the audio to that provider's servers for processing.
Rememberly receives only the finished text and saves it as your memory. If you would rather no audio ever leaves your device, type your memories instead of dictating them.
Backups
The app allows Android's standard backup. If you have backup enabled in your device settings, your Rememberly data — including memories and attached photos — may be copied to your personal cloud backup (for example Google Drive) as part of your device backup, and restored when you set up a new device.
That backup belongs to you and is governed by your device and Google account settings, not by us. We have no access to it. You can turn device backup off, or exclude Rememberly from it, in your Android settings under System → Backup.
Sharing your own data
Settings → Export Memories creates a plain-text copy of your memories and hands it to the Android share sheet, so you can send it to whichever app you choose — email, notes, files, and so on. This only happens when you tap it, and where the text goes is entirely your choice. Once it reaches another app, that app's privacy policy applies.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you remove it.
- Delete a single memory or checklist — from within the app. Photos that are no longer used by any memory are cleaned up automatically.
- Delete everything — Settings → Delete All Memories removes all memories and checklists permanently.
- Remove everything including settings — uninstall the app. Android deletes its private storage. If you have device backup enabled, remember that a previous backup copy may still exist in your cloud backup until it expires or you delete it.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side, and no request you need to send us to have it removed.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data held about you. We hold none: there is no account, no server-side profile, and no copy of your content anywhere outside your device. You already have direct and complete control — you can view, edit, export, and delete everything from inside the app.
Children
Rememberly is a general-purpose notes and reminders app. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Security
Your data is held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. Please note that the app does not add a separate password or its own encryption on top of this, so anyone who can unlock your device can open the app and read your memories. We recommend using a device screen lock.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.

Before submitting Rememberly to Google Play, replace "to be added" above with AVORA SIA's registered address. A published policy that names a company but gives no address is a common review flag, and Latvian company details are expected to be disclosed. Do not guess it.
